Queen's Night

Senior year of high school is the pits even if one doesn't overdo it on college classes. Senior year gets ten times worse when the undead are involved.

Cat Roberts is learning the true meaning of the word ‘stress.’  She’s in her senior year of high school, taking altogether too many Advanced Placement courses with her two best friends, and just wants to unwind at the local coffee shop every so often.  It’s not too much to ask, right?

Matters get a bit more complicated by the fact that Cat is the reincarnation of Queen Guinevere…yes, King Arthur’s lady.  Her best friends also had past lives from that era.  Too bad none of them remember these little details. 

Others, however, have perfect memories of the events that led to the shattering of Camelot and Arthur’s court. 

Enraged by the destruction of Camelot, Merlin cursed the surviving Knights of the Round Table to live as vampires, needing to kill to survive, and never seeing the sunlight again.  The knights remember everything, and the one who betrayed them.  Few people in Cat’s life are what they seem.

All of them are converging on Cat’s senior year.  Some are intent on rekindling old bonds and atoning for their mistakes fifteen hundred years ago.  Others wish to finish what was started when Arthur’s kingdom fell.   

Whoever said high school was easy was dreaming.
